Waiver Form
Sauna is a relaxing and enjoyable experience, but it is important to read and check the below information to make sure it is a safe experience for you and your group.
If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make sure all users are aware of the safe sauna use, the terms and conditions of the waiver form and are aware of what to bring.
ALL persons using the sauna do so at their own risk.
Our sauna session takes place in natural environments, where there is often wet and uneven surfaces. Please take care when walking around.

To use the sauna you must be aged 16 years. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Alcohol, nudity, drugs, smoking and vaping are not permitted in the sauna or around the Reyt Sauna site.

The Reyt Sauna operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons or for other reasons that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

The outdoor fed stove is exclusively used by staff - at no times can you touch, put logs in the fire or move the stove vents. Please speak to the sauna operator for them to make changes to the stove.

You must not use the sauna if you suffer from high or low blood pressure or any heart or circulatory disorder or suffer from epilepsy or diabetes; are pregnant; or are prone to dizziness or fainting.

If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, such as (but not limited to) pre-existing medical conditions, underlying health problems, the use of prescription drugs, it is essential that you seek medical advice prior to booking the sauna.

Please consult your doctor before using the sauna if you have any of the following: metal pins, rods, artificial joints, or any surgical implants including silicon.

The sauna should not be used by anyone feeling unwell. Or whilst using the sauna, if you feel unwell, dizzy, sleepy or uncomfortable please leave the sauna immediately.

Any hanging jewellery must be removed before entering the sauna to prevent the risk of burning. It is recommended watches and glasses should not be worn in the sauna. Phones can also be damaged by the sauna, so it is recommended not to take them in.

All persons using the ice bath as a ‘cold plunge’ do so at their own risk. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer and can cope being exposed to the cold temperatures.

Be aware that surfaces in and around the sauna/cold plunges can become wet and slippery caused by water, ice or snow.

Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water before, during and after your sauna sessions.

No glass or metal bottles are to be taken into the sauna.

All personal belongings are left at your own risk. We have storage for belonging (unsecure), please do not bring valuables.
Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times. This includes;

Remove shoes prior to entering the sauna and wash your feet (in the bucket provided) before entering the sauna.

Wear swimwear and sitting on a clean towel within the sauna for hygiene purposes & to soak up your sweat

Ensure rinsing after the sauna in the showers, prior to using the cold plunge baths.

Do not touch any part of the stove, stove cage, stove rocks or surrounding stove guard. These are extremely hot and would cause burning.

Entering and exiting sauna in a safe manner, closing the door behind you

Sauna sessions of no longer than 20 min at a time (we recommend 10-15 minutes, but listen to your body not a timer)

Do not use any personal products, salt scrubs or oils in the sauna. Only those provided by Reyt Sauna

Only pouring the provided ‘sauna water’ on hot rocks and nothing else. Consider other guests when pouring water on the rocks. Pour slowly using the ladel from the back of the rocks to the front, to prevent scalding from the löyly steam; do not dump water.

Behaving in a respectful way to all other bathers, respecting space and privacy.

Getting changed within your booked time slot if you'd like to use the changing room.

Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safely.
By making a booking you are confirming you have read and agree to adhere to the terms and conditions of this waiver. At the time of booking you will be asked to sign the waiver form. We will not accept liability for anyone who fails to adhere to the waiver form conditions.
