For the days when you're running on empty
I'm Natalie, founder of Reyt Sauna, Sports Science graduate, lifelong footballer, and someone who knows exactly what it feels like to keep going when your body is quietly begging you to stop, but you have three little humans relying on you.

...take a break from the hectic daily life
"I was invited to Reyt Sauna by a friend and had never experienced contrast therapy before…and I absolutely loved it!!
We now go as group of friends on a regular basis which is also a great opportunity for us to catch up! The whole experience is fab and Nat who runs it is so friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable!
I’ve just signed up to the monthly membership as I love going that much and it will ensure I take a break from the hectic daily life and make the time for me!
I love the buzz…the sense of achievement…the benefits and the amazing sleep I always have that night!
Love the Full Moon event too! Give it a try…it’s a Reyt Sauna!!"

I thought food and fitness were enough
Movement has always been part of who I am. I studied Sports Science, played football for as long as I can remember, and loved most sports growing up. Even when I was living in the Middle East, football gave me my community and a sense of home wherever I landed.
Being an athlete shaped how I think about the body, recovery, and what it actually means to feel well.
But going through a dark time made me realise there's more to feeling good than just training and eating well. In 2022, doing those two things wasn't making me feel like myself anymore. I needed something more.
I couldn't switch off
I had returned to the UK from the UAE with three kids, four suitcases, and a nervous system running on fumes.
Emotional regulation had left me and life felt relentless. Anxiety and panic crept in, something I'd never really known before. No matter how much I trained, pushed, or kept moving, I couldn't find stillness.
My brain was constantly racing between the past and every future eventuality.

Outdoor Sauna and Cold Plunge
Where Reyt Sauna really began
Amongst all the self-development work and reading, I found cold water.
It was actually triathlon training that got me into lake swimming, which continued into the winter months, minus the swimming.
It wasn't through a trend, it was through desperation, and then through curiosity about why it worked. With a Sports Science background, I understood the physiology of the vagus nerve, the nervous system reset, the hormonal response.
But what I wasn't prepared for was how it felt.
Those first few seconds in cold water were the only moments my mind went completely quiet, totally present and absorbed in a moment of nothingness.

Breathwork was something I also leaned on heavily during those early days of anxiety and panic. No matter where I was or what I was thinking, I could always come back to my breath.
Cold water and breathwork together became the foundation of my own reset, and eventually the foundation of Reyt Sauna.

I built the space I needed
I built this because I wanted to share that feeling with others, and because I know I'm not the only one who's felt this way.
What started as a personal healing tool became something much bigger.
I wanted to help people, and so I created a space for people to slow down, reconnect, and breathe again.
A place that feels welcoming, grounding, and real, whether you’re a regular cold water enthusiast or a first-timer.
You don't need to tough it out
Everything at Reyt Sauna is rooted in what I know both scientifically and personally. Contrast therapy doesn't have to be extreme, it isn't just for athletes, and it isn't about toughness. It's a simple, science-backed way to regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, and genuinely make you feel better.
Whether you're carrying too much and need some space and quiet, or you train and want to recover smarter, this place was made for you.
Cold is always optional. There's no judgement here. Just a growing community of like-minded people, and an open door.
Come and see what stillness feels like.
