Frequently asked questions
Please arrive 5 -10 minutes before your booking, to allow time for a quick briefing and to get changed if necessary. We recommend arriving in your swimwear / changing robe to save precious sauna time! We apologise if you are late we cannot extend the session time, as it is likely that there will be another booking arriving.
Bring suitable swimwear (with no metal fastenings as these get hot in the sauna).
2 towels (1 for sitting on in the sauna for hygiene reasons, 1 for drying off).
Drinking water to rehydrate during and after the session.
Flip flops, sliders or crocs and a robe (if you have one).
We also recommend some warm clothing for after the experience. We do not have warm showers.
If possible arrive ready for the sauna.
Standard bookings are 55 minutes to use Reyt sauna and plunge tubs.
We advise in our customer briefing (which is also displayed at the venue) to keep the sauna sessions below 20 minutes and include periods of cooling down and rest outside. If sauna is new to you, take it easy and go for a shorter session of 3-5min this is a great start. Take a break and then head back in for more and perhaps longer if you feel right.
Will I be sharing the sauna space?
This depends on your booking.
Our community sessions are a mixed space with up to 10 people in any session. Do not fear though, we have found great new friendships in the sauna space!

If you would like the sauna space to be private you can either book all 10 seats (we allow 12 in a private booking) or get in touch on hello@reytsauna.co.uk and we can organise the time for your booking. If you would like to book us for a private hire or event outside our operating hours please drop us an email at hello@reytsauna.co.uk.
We have 3 small changing room and a small amount of storage.
Please keep personal belongings to a minimum and no valuables, as we are unable to supervise belongings, and cannot be held responsible for loss/theft.
There is a very small area within the sauna with hooks for hanging towel/robes whilst using the sauna.
As well as our sauna and cold plunge pools, at our current location we currently have 3 changing rooms, 2 cold showers and an outdoor deckchair area with natural views.
We are located on Copley’s Farm which has Moo Café with a food and drinks menu, and indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a smaller Copley's Cafe where you can purchase hot drinks.
There are some medical reasons why sauna may not be safe for you.
If you experience any nausea, dizziness, hot flushes, cold chills, headaches or other discomfort please leave the sauna immediately. Drink plenty of fluids before and after leaving the sauna.
Everyone attending the sauna is required to follow the terms of use and complete a waiver form. Please read this carefully especially relating to any medical conditions and pregnancy.
Please find more information on the Sauna Safety page on the website.
What about the weather?
We are open in all weathers. In fact we quite like a bit of rain to add a bit of atmosphere to the sauna experience.
The only weather that stops play is high winds and/or thunder/lightning. If there is a weather warning in place or winds are above 45mph we will contact you to reschedule your booking with as much notice as possible.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Cancellations for sauna sessions need to be actioned via your confirmation email more than 48 hrs before for a full refund (minus a £5 admin fee, but no fee for rescheduling). If you inform us 24 hrs before we will provide sauna credits.
For a refund please email hello@reytsauna.co.uk with the booking details (Name, Date, Time).
Any cancellations less than 24 hours before your booking are non-refundable.
Full refunds (or rescheduling) are issued for any weather / mechanical / staffing issue cancellations.
