About the event
We’ll begin around the firepit with an introduction to matcha, led by the wonderful Becca, Founder of Matcha Mao. Against a backdrop of curated Japanese soundscapes, Becca will guide you through the history of matcha & its extraordinary health benefits. You’ll also learn how to prepare the perfect cup and recreate a grounded matcha latte at home.
Following this nourishing start, we move into the warmth of the wood-fired sauna for a guided contrast therapy experience led by Natalie. This flow of heat and cold supports circulation, clarity, and nervous system regulation, a powerful way to welcome the day.
Between your heat and cold cycles, you’re invited to return to the firepit to observe your drink being prepared. Becca will be whisking every bowl fresh to order with traditional Japanese intention.
